Last updated: September 21, 2026
Partenario is a business established in Quebec, Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit partenario.ca or communicate with us. It applies to individuals in Canada and the United States; available rights may vary depending on your place of residence and applicable law.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to Partenario’s corporate website and to communications you initiate through it. It does not govern the specialized digital platforms operated by Partenario for its partners. Those platforms must display their own privacy notice according to their features, providers and the information they collect.
2. Information we collect
The current website contains no form and uses no audience analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels, profiling or behavioural advertising.
When you email us, we may receive information you choose to provide, including:
- your name, email address and telephone number;
- your business name, role and professional contact information;
- services offered, territory served and information related to a potential partnership;
- the content of your message and any attachment you voluntarily provide.
The website host may also process limited technical data, such as an IP address, browser type, request time and pages requested, to maintain the service’s security, availability and operation.
3. How we use information
We use information we receive only when reasonably necessary to:
- respond to a question or request;
- assess a partnership opportunity and communicate with the business concerned;
- establish, administer and improve a business relationship;
- protect the website, prevent abuse and resolve technical issues;
- comply with legal obligations and defend our rights.
4. Consent and communications
By voluntarily providing information, you consent to its handling for the purposes stated at the time of collection or described in this policy. You may withdraw consent where permitted by law, subject to applicable legal or contractual obligations.
The website’s contact button opens your email application. Your email provider then handles your message under its own terms and policies.
5. Disclosure to third parties
Partenario does not sell or rent personal information and does not share it for targeted behavioural advertising.
We may disclose information to providers that support our operations, such as hosting, email and security services or professional advisers. These providers must use it only for the services entrusted to them. Disclosure may also occur when permitted or required by law, including in response to a valid legal request.
6. Processing outside your jurisdiction
Some providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions. That information may then be subject to the laws where it is processed, including legally authorized requests from local authorities.
7. Retention and security
We retain information only for the period reasonably necessary for the stated purposes, administration of the business relationship and compliance with our obligations. It is then securely deleted or anonymized where appropriate.
We apply reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures based on the nature of the information. No transmission or storage system can, however, guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on applicable law and your place of residence in Canada or the United States, you may request:
- access to personal information we hold about you;
- correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- deletion of certain information;
- withdrawal of consent or restriction of certain uses;
- details about the categories of information collected, their sources, purposes and categories of recipients;
- portability of certain information where that right applies;
- the ability to lodge a complaint with the appropriate authority.
Where required by law, exercising your rights will not result in discrimination. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and certain legal exceptions may apply.
9. Children
Partenario’s services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek to collect their personal information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices, providers or applicable requirements. The date shown at the top of this page indicates the current version.
